Sell through your own Stripe or SumUp and Entry takes nothing. Your guests pay the price you set, and you pay only the card fee.
02
Paid when they book
The money goes straight to your payment account when a guest pays, not days after the event ends.
03
Guests don't need an account
They give a name and an email address and get a ticket with a QR code and calendar links.

Card fees use Stripe's standard UK card rate, 1.5% + 20p. Eventbrite adds 20% VAT to its fee unless you give it a VAT number. Super Basic isn't VAT registered, so our prices are the full price. ALTERNATIVES
Looking for an alternative to Eventbrite, Ticket Tailor, Skiddle or TicketSource?
Eventbrite charges 6.95% + 59p on each paid ticket in the UK, which buyers pay by default, and adds 20% VAT to that fee if you haven't given it a VAT number. On a £20 ticket that's £1.98 before VAT. You're paid 3 business days after the event ends.
Entry takes nothing on tickets sold through your own Stripe or SumUp. You pay only the card fee, and the money reaches your account when the guest pays.
No Entry fee on tickets through your own Stripe or SumUp
Money when they pay, not after the event
Guests book with a name and an email, no account
£20 a year for paid tickets, ticket types and promo codes
WHEN EVENTBRITE SUITS BETTERYou want your event listed on a marketplace where people browse for things to do.
A Ticket Tailor alternative with no per-ticket fee
Ticket Tailor has no subscription. It charges 60p plus VAT a paid ticket, or from 22p if you buy credits in advance, with your payment provider's fee on top. Free tickets cost nothing up to 5,000 a year, and charities get 50% off.
Entry Basic is £20 a year with no fee per ticket, so it costs less once you sell more than 28 paid tickets a year.
£20 a year, however many tickets you sell
No fee per ticket on your own Stripe or SumUp
Check-in on your phone, and a door link for helpers on Super
WHEN TICKET TAILOR SUITS BETTERYou sell only a handful of tickets a year, or you need reserved seating.
TryBooking is free for free events. For paid tickets it charges 5% + 20p a ticket, card fees and VAT included, and pays you after the event. Or it's 75p a ticket plus Stripe's own fees if you take the payments yourself.
With Entry and your own Stripe, a £20 ticket costs you 50p in card fees and nothing to Entry.
No per-ticket fee from Entry
Paid when the guest pays
Allergens and per-person details for supper clubs
WHEN TRYBOOKING SUITS BETTERYou'd rather pay nothing at all until you sell a ticket.
TicketSource is free for free events. On paid tickets it charges 7% plus VAT a booking with its own card processing, card fees included, or 4.5% plus VAT if you connect your own Stripe. With its own processing, you're paid the Monday after the event.
Entry takes nothing on tickets through your own Stripe or SumUp. On a £20 ticket you pay 50p in Stripe's fee, against £1.68 with TicketSource's processing.
No booking fee on your own Stripe or SumUp

QUESTIONS
Switching questions
Does Entry charge a booking fee?
Not on your own Stripe or SumUp, on any plan. You pay only your provider's card fee. With Super Basic payments instead, it's 3% + 20p a booking on Basic and 1.5% + 20p on Super, with the card fee included.
Is Entry free?
Yes, for 5 events a month with up to 25 guests each. Basic, £20 a year, adds paid tickets and 250 guests an event. Super, £10 a month, has no cap on events or guests.
Do my guests need an account?
No. They give a name and an email address, and get a ticket by email.
Does Entry hold my ticket money?
No. Guests pay on a secure Stripe page and the money goes straight to your own payment account. Entry only keeps the record of who has paid.
